From the sixth grade, I was in the bilingual English class just created by my college in the North of France and I had an English correspondent: each spent a week in full immersion with the other each year, classes at the college included . I loved the languages and the possibilities of discovery and travel that it brought me.
From the beginning of my marketing career in a multinational in Paris, I wanted to live an expatriation experience. In Milan, for 3 ½ years, I was a teacher of French as a foreign language, had my first child and forged very strong friendships with Italian women. In The Hague, for 7 years, I got involved in international associations, had my two other sons and forged ever-lasting friendly relations with people from all over the world. I did not know the au pair system but I dreamed of a big brother or a big sister to help us at home with the children.
Back in France, I worked in international mobility, led a voluntary conversation group in French for mothers from the international school where we had put our children who were already bilingual in English and created a network of bilingual active women on LinkedIn ( Networking Women Lille).
For six years, I have been teaching marketing courses in higher education and that’s how I met Aurélie… I am also a certified professional coach and support entrepreneurs. My hobby: putting people in touch. With AuPairXP, I want to facilitate intercultural exchanges and give young people the opportunity to live one of the most beautiful experiences of their life.

After a first failure in my school career, I decided, 4 years ago, to challenge myself: to go abroad alone! So I left for a year, as an Au Pair, in California (Oakland – San Francisco).
This experience allowed me to grow and learn a lot of things which helped me to resume my studies when I returned to France.
Today, I am admiring and grateful for the experience I had in the United States with the local family. This adventure was a turning point in my life, both professionally and personally. This is why, after obtaining my diplomas, we decided with Catherine to create an Au Pair program agency in our image.
Being a very caring person and knowing the challenges of this kind of experience, it is very important for me to be present throughout the process to best support young people and families who want to get started.
In my opinion, this opportunity is unique and it pleases me to be able to give my maximum so that other people can experience these kinds of moments that mark our lives forever.
